Most of the hotels it represents are in Austria, with a few in Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary. You'll find good information and photos on the site. The Austrian Federal Railways (Österreichischen Bundesbahnen or ÖBB) has a site where you can work out schedules, travel times, and bus connections. If your route requires connections, it's helpful to have a good map of Austria to help you visualize where you're going. Burg Hochosterwitz's site has hours, admission prices, and a bit of history. Burg Landskron has a very nice site with information about the falconry show and other events at the castle. UNESCO World Heritage site for Salzburg Details of visiting four of the former magnificent castles and palaces belonging to the archbishops of Salzburg--Hohensalzburg, the Residenz, Hohenwerfen Castle, and Mauterndorf Castle can be found at this helpful site. For information about Mozart's birthplace, residence, or concerts featuring Mozart's music, visit the site sponsored by the Mozarteum (in German). UNESCO World Heritage site for Graz Schloss Esterházy at Eisenstadt, Burgenland, offers information about guided tours of the schloss, the Haydn Festival, and Haydn's home. The Castle Road site tells you everything you need to know to explore the dozens of castles in this region of Austria. The site is in German but is easy to use. Lots of links. Burg Forchtenstein They could have done a better job with this site, but it gives you a general idea (in German). The Neusiedler See National Park site is good for photos to give you a visual idea about the lake and its surrounding natural habitat. The town of Rust has a site with photos and information about its renowned wine. Even if you're not a horse fan, the Piber Stud Farm will inspire you to learn more about these magnificent animals. The Hofburg Imperial Palace is so immense, no one site covers it all. This site will get you started on a few of the museums. The Spanish Riding School at the Hofburg maintains a website with performance dates, as well as information about the stud farm in Styria. The Museum of Fine Arts has an excellent site with a good overview of its collections and special exhibitions. Schloss Schönbrunn has a very good site with the palace's history and visitor information.
